Distraction-free Word Processor for Writers
It is a simple, distraction-free word processor that includes support for Rich Text and smart quotes. The application has been designed solely for text, but accommodates a toolbar, hidden from the general view to give access to the most common word processing features. Once you begin writing the toolbar hides out-of-the-way and reappears only when you move your mouse to the edge of the screen. This is a prominent feature of the software. At the bottom of the screen, another toolbar that allows you to view a live count of your words, as well as tabs for all the various documents kept open, is present. FocusWriter can be minimized, restored down or maximized to full-screen, depends on one’s preference. Apart from all this, it includes a themes button which allows you to create custom themes, with your own background and fonts. You even have the option to save the created themes and export them to share it with your friends.
