Edit a photo in OneDrive with photo editing features
If you want to give yourself a second chance to perfect that family snap or adjust the colors of your portrait photo, give the built-in photo editing features in OneDrive, a try. You can also make other necessary enhancements. Let’s cover the process in a bit more detail!
How do I crop photos in OneDrive?
Go to the OneDrive login page and enter your details. When the page loads, select the Photos option from the side bar.
Select an image you would like to edit and click the Edit Photo option as shown in the image above.
To trim out unwanted parts of an image or bring more focus to your subject, crop it to a standard size using built-in presets, or go free-form to crop it to the desired length. Now, no more bend your head to view pictures that appear tilted. The incremental degree rotation capability easily straightens out those slightly tilted pictures. It also makes it simple to rotate pictures left and right by 90 degrees or flip an image by 180 degrees.
Similarly, if you are unhappy with your images’ light and color saturation, switch to the enhancements tools to create truly stunning images. The tools allow you to adjust for brightness, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, and color saturation, as desired.
The service offers a wide range of filters too. You can apply the ones that best suit your images. Lastly, if you want to enjoy your OneDrive photos and videos on a larger screen, you can display them on your TV with Chromecast. To display your media files on Chromecast devices, connect your phone to a Chromecast-enabled device, open the OneDrive for Android app, and tap on the upper right corner of the OneDrive home tab. As you scroll through media files on your phone, you’ll see them mirroring on Chromecast-enabled TV or device.
